Aeschynanthus 'Purple Star' commonly known as Purple Star Lipstick plant, has an upright growth pattern, creating a bushy plant that overflows and presses its self down, overflowing its pot. Despite this plants name it produces Hot Pink Flowers. Aeschynanthus is a close relative of the hoya plant and requires similar care and has a similarly easy going nature. However we find that lipstick plants bloom more easily than many hoyas.

Please note, while we make every effort to package your plants with care it is not unusual to have a few damaged leaves during the shipping process, as these are live plants. Some plants are less tolerant of the stress of shipping than others, and may arrive looking limp, but they should recover quickly with proper care and time to acclimate to your home.
