“Cynanchum marnierianum” aka Bundle of Sticks
 
This fantastic succulent has adapted an extremely unique means of fending off hungry herbivores- it plays dead! This plant looks like a bunch of sticks or twigs but it is most definitely alive. And to prove it (aside from growing in length) it will occasionally develop orb like flowers that produce a sweet fruity smell. It is a seriously unique trailing plant that is sure to be a conversation starter. Due to its strange nature and almost dead look this isn’t a plant that you will find all that often, it takes a special person to seek out a bunch of twigs.
